First watermark lesson

Learned how to add a watermark (copyright) to my pictures. Not sure I did so great but at least there is one there now.... I think it needs to show up better??

Included: light, depth of field and focus "oops"es...

Ya - had some fun today with the kids but there was not enough light (so many shots are grainy), kids did not want to be still and I need to learn to focus the camera myself instead of relying on any type of "auto". Well actually I was not paying enough attention to my DOF (depth of field) either so the camera focused on the objects instead of the OBJECTS (children). I hope I've salvaged some of them to an extent at least. Plus my three year old does NOT like picture time but was feeling left out since baby sister got her pictures done. Not many of his turned out.

Angles and lighting...

Yesterday I opened Arielle's window and used some natural light to get these pics of her in her crib (the background will look better once I paint and decorate the rest of her room but it does show her cute crib and bedding - not to mention the ADORABLE BABY!!).

This one was too dark but I edited it in my photo impact and even though it's more grainy - now it's not too dark.

This shot is dark because I turned the "auto" off and was experimenting with my camera settings - obviously I needed to adjust something and bring in more light but... I like how Arielle is slightly in the background and I try to photograph happy and... not so happy moments . My mom did this and I actually crack up at the pictures of me crying when I was little.
